 Life Span Air Alert Valve Cap does not need any maintenance. The battery life has approximately 2 years in stand by mode (with correct tire pressure) and up to 3 weeks of flashing (with incorrect tire pressure) and can be checked at any time. We suggest that from time to time you verify the functionality and the condition of the batteries by just unscrewing the cap. When unscrewed, the cap will flash which indicated everything is in good working order. If the flashing is dim or not flashing, the batteries are worn out. Re attach after check. |
